Hi all,
You asked and we delivered, as promised. Your advanced strength sessions are now available for the first 3 months of the program!
These sessions are geared to those of you who are slightly further along your journey than others. If you’ve already done quite a bit of exercise then these will still push you whilst working the right muscles. These sessions will still help fix any Diastasis, Posture issues and back pain but please don’t do them until your body feels OK doing them. You are not supposed to feel like you can’t walk anymore or your core is “on fire” after you’ve done these sessions.
Everything is on an Interval system. This allows you to take a break or slow down when you need to. If you can do 5 repetitions of an exercise with good form or 10 reps with shitty form, please only do the 5! We are working the muscle, we’re not trying to get your heartrate up as high as possible. The core breath still applies during HIIT training as I explain in the video below
The suggested intervals are 30 sec work, 10 rest, 40 sec work 20 rest or 45 sec work 15 rest. That last one is pretty tough going for some exercises so make sure you stay in full control of your core throughout.
Remember; if you don’t do the exercises properly you could be doing more harm than good.
You’ll obviously get the Advanced sessions emailed to you like you do the other ones but, for now, you can find them in the Sessions Plans section of the site.
I hope you’re all happy with this addition.
We’ll continue to add to the workouts available in the next few weeks. I also have the Castle Personal Training yoga instructor working on some cool Post-Natal Yoga sessions for you guys which we’ll shoot in the next couple of months.
Let me know how you get on and please, please, PLEASE, share the message with your friends. There isn’t another Post-Natal program out there that gives you extras without charging you for it. We will always be affordable for everyone so why not bring your friends on board?
Take care, and let me know if you need anything.
Peter
